This is a watercolor of a mother and child headed out to the beach on Jekyll Island, one of the Golden Isles off the coast of Georgia. The painting is based on my own photograph, and currently in a show with the Georgia Watercolor Society at Sautee Nagoochee in northern Georgia. The painting is naturally colored and very calming to anyone who loves the ocean. It is framed in a simple black frame with an acrylic cover instead of glass, so it can be shipped.
